Ames Associates was hired by the City of Brewer to design and develop construction documents to relocate Pierce Road approximately 250 feet to the east to align with Sparks Avenue to create a new four-leg intersection on Wilson Street, the major commercial corridor of the City.

The project included construction of approximately 1,000 feet of new roadway with curb and a new closed stormwater drainage system. A new traffic signal with mast arm supports, video vehicle detection, and emergency pre emption was designed and installed at the new intersection.

Ames Associates assisted the City of Brewer with publicly bidding the project once the contract documents were complete and provided owner representation during the course of construction.
