Woodlands administrators wanted to add an Alzheimer's wing that would share space and resources with the original assisted living facility. The Alzheimer's residential wing is connected to the assisted living and residential wing by a secure kitchen area. While residents of the Assisted Living facility have access to the carefully landscaped grounds, residents of the Alzheimer's Unit will be provided with similar outdoor experiences, but in a large, enclosed, well-landscaped garden.
