The owner envisioned a residential care facility with a home-like atmosphere, yet the building also had to meet the rigid code restrictions required for a healthcare facility. Several residential wings radiate off a central core of wellness, dining, and living spaces — all within easy access of the facility's controlled entry lobby. The Woodlands also includes a large kitchen that serves 66 residents daily. An abundance of wood in a variety of finishes and careful detailing create a rich, warm atmosphere.
