The current restoration of the Historic Bangor Opera House Façade and addition of a new replacement theatre marquee included knowledge of masonry restoration techniques and expectations of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission to ensure that all aspects met historic standards while managing the project to meet the requirements of the five different funding sources. Also included was interior work to meet current Fire, Building and Accessibility codes providing accessible seating areas, appropriate exiting, and fire sprinklering.
