• Our Civil Engineering Department has years of experience designing projects for State, municipal, commercial, and private clients.  This work has involved all aspects of site design including site layout and grading, storm water and sanitary sewer design, roadway design, utility coordination, erosion control, and State and local permitting.
• Our Civil Engineering staff has a long and successful history of working well with State agencies to obtain Stormwater Permits, Wetland Permits, LURC Concept Plan and Rezoning approvals, and Site Location of Development Act (SLODA) Permits for many challenging developments.
• Our professionals have experience in highway and intersection design and are well versed in the Maine Department of Transportations design policies and procedures.  We are certified with MeDOT as a Local Project Administrator to assist municipalities with MeDOT funded projects.
• AMES A/E has a current General Contract Agreement with the Multimodal Division of MeDOT. We have completed traffic impact studies for both municipal and commercial clients as part of the State Traffic Movement Permitting process.
